I bought a iBook about a month ago. I bought it 'cheap' since it was: (1) only 800 MHz and; (2) a display unit. I reasoned that since this is my first notebook ever I really don't need faster processor and something brand spanking new. I am content with this nifty gadget and I am using it often that I am neglecting my desktop PC.

I prefer using this for now since I can surf wirelessly for free here at Basti's Brew, Victoria Plaza. Too bad it's only till May 31st. I have to make the best out of it. After May 31, I guess it'll be back to my desktop PC.

Another reason why I am not using my desktop that much is I am not playing games anymore. I bought this iBook because I wanted to wean away form playing too much. I know there are games for the mac but I want to avoid putting any games here.

Since my brother, Hoovenson, saw my iBook he's been thinking of getting a notebook. I got his camera the same day I got my iBook. He's deciding between a Windows notebook or Mac. He's enumerated some plus and minus. As of the moment he still can't make up his mind. He's even considering buying either an iMac or eMac and buy a case for it so it'll be portable. He says both are cheaper than an iBook or Powerbook. With the cases the eMac or iMac can be protable but they are heavy! He reasoned out that if he travels around he won't be bringing the computer with him. He'll just leave it at the hotel or apartment and upload the images from his 10D when he gets back.

But I retorted that you'd be paying extra for the excess weight. Hmmm...

He's in Manila right now. He's probably looking for his notebook. He sent me an SMS this afternoon. And he was really annoyed. It went like this:

Brother: You forgot shipping (I was talking about getting books from Amazon.com would be cheaper). Saw Power Book. It was so underwhelming.
Me: Is it that bad? So no powerbook for you?
Brother: The specs are better than most including Taiwanese brands. I'll ignore the zombies posing as sales clerks.
Me: Hehehe. Let me guess. You went to powermac stores at glo (Glorietta)?
Brother: S M mega. Idiots.
Me: Hehehe. (I really like to laugh) Did I tell you about them before? Annoying aren't they? Stupid blank stares
Brother: Must be smoking some real potent weeds
(At this point I crack up. I laughed out loud. I didn't care whether the other customers were staring at me.)
Me: HAHAHA ÜÜÜ iWeed OS X
