A shuffle? Let me think about it.

Michael S. Lasky became an iPod junkie when he got his iPod last Christmas. He's gone everywhere with it but one fateful day in SF's Golden Gate Park, tragedy struck. He dropped his iPod while jogging and after several bounces off the pavement the iPod lay dead. Among the fatalities were the Beatles, the Beach Boys, and Beethoven. Lasky then understood the mortality of the hard-drive based digital music player (DiMP).

With the recent trauma in mind, Lasky decided to go with a flash-based DiMP this time. Since he previously was a proud owner of an iPod, it would only be natural for him to get the iPod shuffle, right? Right? To find out, read Michael Lasky's journey into rationalization and see whether or not he still is an iPod junkie.
