Big letdown or signs of more things to come?

For many, the February 28 Apple announcement was a big letdown. The new Intel Mac minis, the iPod Hi-Fi, and the iPod leather sleeves were not good enough to satisfy their appetite for something spectacular from Steve Jobs.

There are so many Apple fan(-atics) and analysts that say Apple shouldn't have bothered with sending out invitations and staging an event. Needless to say, they considered the new products a big disappointment. But there are some who likes to see things differently.

So there are those who sees the half-empty glass while there are some who sees the glass being filled up. I am more of the latter.

I must admit that I am not particularly impressed with the iPod Hi-Fi. But I am not an audiophile. As long as the sound coming from the speakers or the headphones are clear enough for me to enjoy the music or to understand what's being spoken in a podcast, then they're fine with me.
