OLX is the next generation of free online classifieds.

They provide a simple solution to the complications involved in selling, buying, trading, discussing, organizing, and meeting people near you, wherever you may reside.

Posting an ad is very easy.

Click on the "Post a Free Classified" button at the upper right-hand corner of the OLX Philippines homepage.

Select your province from the drop-down menu. Wait for the page to reload. Then select your city and as an option, indicate your neighborhood. Choose your category and then a sub-category. Click on continue and then wait for the next page to load.

After the page has loaded, you can then fill in all the information you think is necessary for your posting. You have a lot of formatting options in the Description field. Go easy on that. No need to do a MySpace page here. You can also upload photos from your computer. There's no option to link to a URL in case you already have a photo up somewhere in the web. You need to fill in your email address so you can be notified when someone replies to your ad. Your email address will be hidden from perusers. You can also add your phone number but it's optional.

Click Publish and confirm.

Very easy and simple. No need to register unlike some other online classifieds sites. (Registering is not all that complicated, really. Just indicate your username, email address, and password. That's all.)

The website is pretty fast, and you have to consider that we've been having problems again with Globe DSL.

According to OLX, you can display your listings on social networking sites like Facebook or MySpace. I haven't had the chance to try it out yet.

OLX is available in over 89 countries in 38 different languages.
